Yakushi Nyorai Omamori
YAKUSHI NYORAI OMAMORI
Koukyouji offers an original acrylic omamori (protective charm) blessed by Yakushi Nyorai,
the Medicine Buddha, for the protection of good health and everyday well-being.
About the Omamori
Yakushi Nyorai, also known as the "King of Medicine," has long been revered as a Buddha who heals ailments and brings peace of mind to body and spirit. This omamori carries the blessings of Yakushi Nyorai's twelve great vows, offering protection for everyday health and well-being. It makes a thoughtful gift or souvenir for loved ones, and is also a fitting token of well-wishing for someone who is unwell.
Koukyouji's original acrylic omamori features a transparent acrylic panel with gold holographic foil stamping. The front bears the characters mubyō-sokusai ("freedom from illness") alongside a lotus motif, while the back displays the Koukyouji logo with a cherry blossom design inspired by the temple garden. The holographic foil shimmers beautifully as the light catches it, giving the charm a distinctive and special quality. It is compact enough to attach to a bag or carry in a wallet. Each charm is blessed at the Yakushido Hall before being offered to visitors.
Design
The shimmer of the holographic foil changes with the angle of light.
The cord comes in five colours: yellow, green, red, blue, and pink. Please choose whichever colour speaks to you.
